1. Who we are
The euro-os.eu website and the EuroOS project are operated by GoTrust BV, Morelgem 24B, 9520 Vlierzele, Belgium (info@euro-os.eu). By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. The website
This website is provided for information about the EuroOS project. We do our best to keep it accurate and up to date, but we give no guarantee that the content is complete, current or free of errors. We may change or remove content at any time.
3. The software (EuroOS)
EuroOS is free and open source software, licensed under the European Union Public Licence v1.2 (EUPL-1.2). Your rights to use, study, modify and share the software are governed by that licence, which you can read in the source repository. Where these terms and the EUPL-1.2 differ regarding the software itself, the EUPL-1.2 applies.
The downloadable images are an early preview (alpha). They are meant for evaluation and experimentation, not for production use or as your everyday operating system. Run them in a virtual machine or on hardware you can afford to wipe.
4. No warranty
The website and the software are provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. You use them at your own risk.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GoTrust BV is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damage, including loss of data, arising from the use of the website or the software. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
6. Trademarks and brand
The source code is open under the EUPL-1.2. The EuroOS and GoTrust names, logos and visual identity remain the property of GoTrust BV. Open source does not include a right to present a modified version as the official EuroOS or to suggest an endorsement that does not exist.
7. Links to other services
Our site may link to third-party services such as GitHub or Liberapay. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, over which we have no control.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Belgium, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have where you live.
